Release ImageCapture 9.6

This month release 9.6 became available. The latest version of our software includes a number of great new features. The most important developments are listed in this article. We make a distinction between general features and features that are integration-specific.

IMPROVED WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION

With version 9.6, Windows Authentication for the ImageCapture Web Client has been significantly improved. When logging in, it is no longer necessary to select Windows Authentication separately; this happens automatically. In addition, it is now possible to log in with or without a Windows domain and the user is given the option of saving the login data securely on the device used.

SUPPORT FOR EXACT GLOBE +

With the arrival of ImageCapture 9.6, we can now offer full support to users of Exact Globe+. Are you an ImageCapture user in combination with Exact Globe, and are you considering switching to Globe+? Please discuss the possibilities with your account manager, or contact us via our contact page.

For more information about ImageCapture 9.6, please feel free to contact us. For customers with a current maintenance agreement, the update will be made available free of charge. Our support staff will evaluate whether you can perform this update yourself, or with the help of paid consultancy (remote or onsite).

Because of the large number of requests to perform the update by our support professionals, you should take a lead time of approximately 1 month into account. Keep this in mind when planning the update of your ImageCapture environment.
