The beginning of a new year is a perfect time to look back on the highlights of the past year and look ahead to what is to come. For Scan Sys, 2024 was a year full of innovation, growth and new collaborations. We joined Blinqx, implemented important software updates and continued to expand our customer base. In this blog, we take you through our key milestones of 2024 and our ambitions for 2025.    <\/p>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Looking back at 2024<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A strategic partnership: affiliation with Blinqx<\/h2>\n\n<p>One of the most profound and meaningful events of 2024 was our affiliation with <a href=\"https:\/\/blinqx.tech\/\"><strong>Blinqx<\/strong><\/a>. This strategic move marks a new chapter in the history of Scan Sys. Blinqx&#8217;s support allows us to focus on what we do best: developing innovative document automation solutions. Meanwhile, Blinqx provides us with the stability and strategic support needed to realize our ambitions.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The shared vision and values of both organizations are at the heart of this partnership. Both Blinqx and Scan Sys believe in creating powerful, user-friendly software solutions that automate and streamline administrative processes. This joint ambition enables us to further expand our product offering and support our customers even better in their daily work.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Maarten Terlingen, Director at Scan Sys, emphasizes:<\/em><br\/><\/strong>&#8220;With Blinqx at our side, we are stronger than ever. This cooperation enables us to innovate faster and continue to improve our solutions. Moreover, the synergy with Blinqx allows us to enter new markets and further strengthen our position in the European market. With Blinqx, we are building a future where we continue to grow together, explore new technologies and continue to surprise our clients with solutions that really make a difference. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/blog-en\/scan-sys-joins-blinqx\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"535\" src=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/1-40-1024x535.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21657\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovative releases and new features<\/h2>\n\n<p>In 2024, we proudly released eleven updates to ImageCapture, from version <a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/changelog\"><strong>10.2 to 10.12<\/strong><\/a>. These updates again brought great new features and optimizations, including: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Interactive visualizations in the Web Client<\/strong>: With the introduction of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/changelog\"><em>pie charts<\/em><\/a><\/strong> (10.3), users can easily monitor and filter the status of documents, making process management more intuitive and efficient.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The &#8220;Ask a Question&#8221; feature:<\/strong> users can, while booking invoices <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/changelog\">ask questions directly<\/a><\/strong> (10.6) within the ImageCapture environment. This enhancement increases collaboration and traceability within workflows. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New links and integrations:<\/strong> Important additions such as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/changelog\">SharePoint link<\/a><\/strong> (10.9), the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/koppeling\/claever-erp\">Claever API<\/a><\/strong> (10.8) and integration with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/koppeling\/carwise\">CarWise<\/a><\/strong> (10.3) have made our platform even more versatile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New solutions on existing integrations: <\/strong>Existing integrations have been extended to include the solution for automatic purchase order matching with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/koppeling\/exact-globe\">Exact Globe(+)<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/koppeling\/eci-trimergo\">ECI Trimergo<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/integration\/prodist\">Prodist ERP<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/integration\/isah-erp\">Isah<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Our releases in 2024 focused on increasing efficiency and flexibility. These innovations are the result of our close collaboration with customers. By listening carefully to needs, we were able to develop functionalities that make a real impact in daily processes.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improvements in performance and usability<\/h2>\n\n<p>In addition to introducing new features, we have put a lot of effort into improving the performance and usability of <strong>ImageCapture<\/strong> in 2024. At Scan Sys, we understand that a smoothly running software is essential to our customers&#8217; success. Therefore, we have made several optimizations to further enhance the user experience.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Updates such as <a href=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/en\/changelog\"><strong>versions 10.10<\/strong> and <strong>10.7<\/strong><\/a> have significantly increased stability and speed. Especially users in complex network environments, such as when using VPN, benefit from these improvements. This enables trouble-free operation even under challenging conditions.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, we have expanded the document editing capabilities in the <strong>Web Client<\/strong>. Users can now directly annotate, rotate or delete pages without having to switch back to the desktop version. This provides more flexibility and control, making documents faster and more efficient.  <\/p>\n\n<p>We have also made workflows simpler and more intuitive. Daily tasks, such as processing invoices, run more smoothly thanks to an improved interface and integrated tools. With these improvements, we have not only increased the performance of our software, but also taken an important step toward more user-friendly solutions.  <\/p>\n\n<p>At Scan Sys, we remain committed to further developing and adapting <strong>ImageCapture<\/strong> to the changing needs of our customers.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Growing impact and international reach<\/h2>\n\n<p>By 2024, we will have further expanded our customer base and international presence. With nearly <strong>5,200 successful installations<\/strong> &#8211; a growth of more than <strong>290 installations<\/strong> over last year &#8211; we continue to increase our impact. In addition, we have made significant strides in the internationalization of our software. With the introduction of <strong>German, Spanish and French versions of the Web Client<\/strong> and the soon-to-be-launched <strong>Polish version<\/strong>, ImageCapture is becoming increasingly accessible to customers across Europe. These developments strengthen our position in the European market and underscore companies&#8217; growing confidence in our document automation solutions    <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Successful presence at trade shows and customer days<\/h2>\n\n<p>2024 was also a year in which we had a full presence at important events. We were proud to participate as a <strong>gold partner<\/strong> in both <strong>Exact Live 2024<\/strong> and <strong>ICT &amp; Logistiek 2024<\/strong>. In addition, we could be found at the customer days of <strong>AFAS<\/strong>, <strong>ECI<\/strong> and <strong>Reflecta<\/strong>, among others. These events gave us the opportunity to make valuable contacts, present our latest innovations and engage directly with our customers. Our visibility at these trade shows and events contributed to strengthening our relationships and increasing our brand awareness.    <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"535\" src=\"https:\/\/scansys.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/terug-en-vooruitblik-2024-2025-4-1024x535.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24608\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Looking ahead to 2025<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n<p>In 2025, our focus is on further developing the <strong>ImageCapture Web Client<\/strong> and the <strong>ImageCapture Online Platform<\/strong>. These platforms will be expanded with new features to make document processing even easier and more efficient. For example, we are working on more extensive archive search functions within <strong>ImageCapture Workflow<\/strong> and we will ensure the immediate availability of previously processed invoices during booking, which significantly speeds up the approval and booking process.  <\/p>\n\n<p>We are also working on new links and expanding the application possibilities of existing links.
