Romijn Jaguar Land Rover, based in The Hague, is a well-known name in the car market and specializes in Jaguar and Land Rover. As one of the first dealers within this group, Romijn Jaguar Land Rover chose ImageCapture to digitize the manual processing of invoices. Ronald Romijn, director of Romijn Jaguar Land Rover and a member of Jaguar Land Rover’s automation committee, played a central role in this project. His focus on process optimization and error reduction led him to Scan Sys. “Scan Sys makes our work easier and helps us work faster and more accurately,” Romijn says.

Romijn Jaguar Land Rover was dealing with an inefficient, error-prone invoice processing process. Manually entering and circulating physical invoices was causing delays in the approval and payment process, resulting in employee frustration and additional administrative work.

The process/method
Romijn Jaguar Land Rover initiated the implementation of ImageCapture on the advice of CarIT, the ERP vendor, and chose to integrate with DBS Financial. The software was tailored specifically to Romijn’s administrative needs, which increased start-up costs slightly but resulted in an error-free and smooth process.
The software now automates the identification, approval and storage of invoices without the need for manual actions.
