🚀 Switch to 64-bit technology
As of version 9, ImageCapture has become a 64-bit application, offering significant advantages:
- Access to new functionality: For users of the ImageCapture Online hosting platform, this means that it is now possible to add attachments to invoices, such as packing slips, PDF documents or photos, during booking or approval.
- Modern support: The move to 64-bit also means that older technologies, such as Internet Explorer 11, will no longer be supported. This is in line with Microsoft’s announcement to end support for Internet Explorer 11.
📄 UBL invoice processing expanded
Functionalities for processing UBL invoices have been further improved, giving organizations more flexibility and control:
- Automatic recognition: ImageCapture automatically detects whether UBL data is available with an invoice. This data can be used to create multiple posting lines quickly.
- VAT corrections: Any differences in VAT are automatically corrected during processing.
- Flexible processing: Users can choose whether to use UBL data, for example, to book an invoice by header amount only. By checking or unchecking the “Use UBL Rules” field, processing can easily be customized to the user’s needs.
With these features, ImageCapture provides a unified approach for both PDF and UBL invoices.
🤖 Self-learning coding of invoice fields
An important optimization in version 9 is the introduction of self-learning coding, which makes the software more intelligent in assigning cost centers and cost carriers:
- Automatic recognition: For invoices with many lines, such as phone bills or lease invoices, ImageCapture recognizes references such as phone numbers or license plates.
